1. Our position
Clipjar does not claim ownership of TikTok videos or operate a public catalog of user content. Users are responsible for having the right or permission to save and use a submitted video. A public link alone is not proof of permission.
Clipjar supports TikTok links only. We do not assist with private, authenticated, paywalled, DRM-protected, geo-restricted, or access-controlled content.
2. Send a notice
If you own a work or are authorized to act for its owner and believe a file prepared through Clipjar infringes it, email clipjar.io@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright takedown notice.” Include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list of works;
- the public TikTok URL and the Clipjar result or file URL, if available, with enough detail to locate the material;
- your contact information;
- a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law; and
- a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the owner.
Do not send passwords, government identification, or unrelated sensitive information. We may request additional information needed to evaluate a report.
3. What happens next
We review credible reports, may disable access to an identified temporary file, may restrict related requests, and may contact the submitting party for clarification. Files are temporary and may already have expired. We may preserve limited records needed to document the complaint and respond to legal obligations.
A notice does not establish liability by itself. We may reject incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, or misdirected reports and may forward information where legally required.
4. Counter-notices
If access was disabled because of a copyright report and you believe the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification, email us with the subject “Copyright counter-notice.” Explain the material at issue, provide your contact information, state under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and consent to the relevant legal process. We may restore access only when permitted by applicable law and after any required waiting period.
5. Repeat infringement and abuse
We may limit or terminate access for repeat infringement, credible rights complaints, abuse of the service, automated bulk requests, or attempts to evade restrictions. We may also cooperate with rights holders, platforms, courts, and law-enforcement agencies when required or appropriate.
6. Contact
Copyright and rights questions should be sent to clipjar.io@gmail.com. This public contact page does not by itself constitute registration of a DMCA designated agent with the U.S. Copyright Office; the operator should complete that separate registration if it intends to rely on the statutory safe-harbor framework.
